Pure
One day, a photographer friend of Mark’s said to him, “Have you seen your neighbor Reina? You should photograph her.” This suggestion gave rise, between 1992 and 1997, to a portrait of the upheavals of adolescence.
The series Pure was published in 2004 in collaboration with Bob Richardson and Jan Dikkers (Issue Inc. Books, New York).
