Gemini

Mark Lyon traveled to discover Twinsdays in Twinsburg, Ohio, over two consecutive summers. By creating portraits with a 5×7-inch large-format camera, he was able to explore the diversity of the participating twins. Having a twin brother himself, the subject fascinated him to such an extent that he sought out pairs of twins beyond the gathering, photographing them in a variety of contexts. A portfolio from the series was published in Blind Spot magazine (No. 20, 1998).
In 1999, the series was exhibited at the Robert Mann Gallery (New York).
